Organizing and photographing a marriage proposal is always an honor, but when the setting is Villa del Balbianello on Lake Como, everything becomes even more magical. Andrew and Kristina’s shoot was one of those moments that are hard to forget: a mix of authentic emotion, timeless beauty, and mutual trust.

From the very first contact, Andrew trusted me with a clear idea in mind: to ask Kristina to marry him in one of the most romantic locations in Italy. His wish was to surprise Krissi in the heart of Villa del Balbianello, and together we planned every detail meticulously.

A perfectly executed proposal, despite the crowds

June is one of the busiest months to visit the villa, and its terraces overlooking the lake are often crowded. Yet, thanks to Andrew’s trust and my knowledge of the location, we managed to find the perfect moment for the surprise, exactly at the spot he had dreamed of for his proposal.

The result? Pure emotion. A tearful, heartfelt “yes” surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Lake Como. Every shot captured the sincerity and intensity of that moment.

A couple’s shoot with cinematic vibes and timeless scenery

After the proposal, we continued with a couple’s session in the gardens and iconic corners of Villa del Balbianello. The lake’s light, the elegance of the villa, and the summer atmosphere gave us a romantic and cinematic photo session—just the way I love it.

Each photo tells their connection, their love, and the magic of a place that feels straight out of a movie. And the best part? Even in such a popular location, we created an intimate, elegant, and timeless gallery.
